An Address Is Only Worth What You Can Collect On It.

Our client registers physical properties, generates a digital address for each one and verifies it to a national standard — at scale, in a market where most buildings have never had an address at all.

We built the half that turns that verified address into a business outcome. The moment an address clears verification it crosses into the operations platform on its own, lands in front of the right agent, becomes a customer with an invoice attached, and stays tracked through payment, production, installation and the recurring account that follows. The field staff whose work produced it are credited automatically, and finance pays them from a weekly register.

Every address travels the same route. There is one way through the system and no side doors — which is what makes the numbers at the end of it trustworthy.

The principle it's built on

Information is captured once, at the point where somebody actually knows it, and inherited everywhere it's needed afterwards. An agent never retypes an address. Finance never reconstructs which payment belongs to which building. The platform carries the connection forward instead of asking a person to remember it.

The Address Arrives on Its Own

The moment an address is verified, the addressing system pushes it across and it appears in the right operations queue — routed automatically by property type, with the field agent who registered it already attached. Nobody rekeys an address, and nobody decides which queue it belongs in. Records that aren't verified are refused at the door.

One Agent, One Customer Record, One Invoice

Assigning a verified address to an agent creates the customer record and its identifiers automatically, permanently linked back to the property and the address they came from. The agent captures a name and a phone number — everything else is inherited. Registration issues the invoice by itself, and the invoice number doubles as the payment reference.

Money First, Then Fulfilment, Then Credit

Incoming mobile-money payments resolve to one of exactly three states, and finance — not sales — confirms them. Only a confirmed payment releases production. Installation is recorded with a named installer and a photograph as evidence. The moment it completes, the recurring account opens and the staff who earned it are credited to a weekly payment register finance can act on.

An Integration That Cannot Duplicate

The handoff between the addressing system and operations is idempotent, keyed on the external property identifier. The same record arriving twice updates the existing row instead of creating a second one — so a retry, a replay or a corrected re-push is always safe. Every arrival is stamped on receipt, which turns “verification to appearing in the queue” into a number somebody can be held to rather than a feeling.

Segregation of Duties, Enforced in the Data Layer

A sales agent can never confirm receipt of a payment. That rule isn't a hidden button — it's checked in the data layer on every call, so it holds regardless of which screen, action or integration reaches it. A hidden control is a UI preference; a check at the write path is a guarantee. Payments resolve to matched, unmatched, or needs-review, and nothing else.

Identifiers That Generate and Link Themselves

Customer, property and address identifiers are deliberately distinct and permanently linked, and the invoice inherits all three at the moment it's issued. Tracing a mobile-money transaction back to the physical building it paid for is a lookup rather than an investigation — a property of the schema, not of anyone's diligence.

An Acceptance Test That Doubles as the Launch Gate

A twenty-step executable test drives a freshly verified address the whole way through: assignment, customer creation, invoice, payment, production, installation with evidence, recurring account, staff credit, weekly register, dashboard and audit trail. It then re-checks the four rules that protect the money. It runs on the command line and inside the app, exits non-zero the moment the chain breaks, and runs against an isolated copy of the data — so proving the system never touches live records.

The system moves money and releases work — so the rules that protect both are enforced where they can't be bypassed, and proved by a test before anyone is asked to trust them.

A platform that only makes sense to the person who commissioned it isn't finished. Each role sees the shortest version of their own job: an agent sees the businesses they own and the two actions they're allowed to take; finance sees a queue of payments to resolve and a weekly register to pay; fulfilment sees what's paid and not yet installed; management sees six numbers and a single list of everything currently stuck, with an owner and an age against each item.

That last part matters more than it sounds. One queue means there is exactly one place to look when something isn't moving — and no way for a stalled payment or an uninstalled plaque to be somebody else's screen.
